Installment number three!
This song has less overt references to the Odyssey though they certainly exist.
The chorus itself is pretty obvious, and several references to 'finding a new way' and 'never going home'.
Many fans believe the song to have dual meaning, though no one can agree on what the two meanings are, so let the interweb arguing commence!
If you aren't familiar with Franz Ferdinand you should be. They are a Scottish rock band that ... you guessed it ... rocks. Interesting factoid, one member of the band (i can't recall who) was voted the most well-endowed man in all of Scotland. Not sure how they confirm that, but an awesome title to be certain!
Also, drat once again to the Roman version of the Odyssey ... more Greek please!
